Islamabad:
The Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of Foreign Affairs (DPM / FM) Senator Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Committee on Thursday for the next Pakistani conference abroad scheduled for April.
The Committee of its meeting discussed the improvement of services and mechanisms for supporting Pakistani abroad, the main stakeholders discussing strategic initiatives to rationalize the commitment and facilitate their contributions to national progress, said a DPM office press release.
The Deputy Prime Minister ordered that the selected proposals be finalized, reaffirming Pakistan priority to strengthen economic, commercial and investment links with friendly countries.
The DPM chaired the 4th interdepartmental meeting, on investment projects proposals with friendly countries.
During the meeting, the Committee examined the memories of potential investments in key sectors, including infrastructure, petroleum, trade and information technology (IT), a press release from the DPM office said.
The DPM has also reiterated the government’s unshakable concentration to improve strategic partnerships and the promotion of collaboration between the intermediary sector.
SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Federal Secretaries for Foreign Affairs, Petroleum, IT and Economic Affairs, the President of the NHA, the Special Secretary Finance & Petroleum and senior officials of SIFC, MOFA, Communications and other services attended Reunion.
