Dar-foreign minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs has ordered other stages to rationalize visa procedures, stimulate transparency and accelerate treatment, especially for Pakistanis abroad, investors and business travelers.
President of a meeting to examine the visa facilitation initiatives introduced in 2024 under its directives, Senator DAR underlined the need for a supported institutional reform in consular services to better serve Pakistanis abroad and promote economic engagement.
According to a statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting has evaluated the progress of procedural reforms implemented in various missions. Officials informed the Deputy Prime Minister of Efforts to simplify demand processes, reduce delays and introduce digital tools to improve services.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs underlined the need to reduce administrative formalities and improve access to the Pakistani diaspora and economic stakeholders.
DAR noted that the visa emission in a timely manner is vital not only for the strengthening of links with the diaspora, but also to attract investments and the promotion of international commercial engagement. He ordered the ministry to identify other areas of improvement and to ensure that missions abroad respect best practices in the treatment of visas.
