- The FMS of Pakistan, Egypt and Algeria discuss Palestine in Djeddah.
- Dar reiterates the strong condemnation by Pakistan of Israel.
The Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment on Tuesday to deepen links with North African nations, notably Algeria and Egypt, thanks to increased connectivity and extended cooperation in various fields.
The Prime Minister made these remarks during a “significant interaction” with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdeatty and the Algerian FM Ahmed Attaf on the sidelines of the 21st extraordinary session of the Council of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC).
During the meeting, they discussed the serious situation in Palestine, stressing the urgent need for humanitarian access, a ceasefire and a lasting peace. The FMS highlighted the importance of unity within the Ummah Muslim in these difficult times.
Dar landed in Djeddah during an official two -day visit yesterday, where he spoke of the current assault on Israel at the 21st extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OCI) to the Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
DPM DAR reiterated the strong conviction by Pakistan on Monday from the highly escalation and dangerous declarations of Israel on the Palestinian lands.
He said the cheeky audacity of the so-called Israeli cabinet, revealing his disturbing plan to extend the total military control of Israel on Gaza, as well as the recent allusion of the Israeli Prime Minister to the creation of a “great Israel”, gave an overview of the annexationist and the mentality of Israel of Israel.
In his declaration during the 21st extraordinary session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Djeddah, the DPM DAR reiterated the appeal of Pakistan for an immediate and effective cease-fire in Gaza.
He ensured the flow of humanitarian aid, the end of forced displacement, the expansion of illegal regulations and the annexation of Palestinian lands, the responsibility of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and the implementation of international and humanitarian laws.
He declared that the meeting was again held as Gaza Bled, under systematic, premeditated and deliberate violations of international law, in particular international humanitarian law, the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the judgment of the CIJ.
And all of this was engaged with impunity by Israel, he noted.
“Gaza has become a cemetery for an innocent life as well as for international law, in particular international humanitarian law (DIH). More than 60,000 Palestinians – most of them, women and children – were killed in the brutal military aggression of Israel,” he added.
He said that the systematic targeting of hospitals, schools, United Nations, help convoys and refugee camps were not incidental; These are free acts of collective punishment at the sight of the world.
“Gaza is undergoing a large-scale humanitarian disaster. For almost two years, he suffered a blind bombing, total blockage and deliberate deprivation and famine, while violence and dispossession degenerate into the West Bank and Jerusalem,” he added.
DAR also said that the so-called humanitarian system implemented by the occupying power was a cruel illusion, adding: “Famine is endemic. Civilians are slaughtered while trying to collect food. The hunger crisis in Gaza has reached unprecedented and deeply alarming levels.”
