Dar reaffirms Pakistan’s support for the independent Palestinian state at the UN

Darrier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar reaffirmed the unwavering support of Pakistan to Palestine law to an independent state, stressing the importance of the borders before 1967.

Speaking at the United Nations high -level international conference on “the peaceful regulation of the Palestine issue and the implementation of the two -state solution” in New York, Dar underlined the long -standing position of his nation on the Palestinian issue.

“For more than 75 years, the Palestinian people have endured the occupation, the displacement and the refusal of their fundamental rights,” said DAR, addressing the diplomats and assemblies assembled.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs condemned the current violence in Gaza, in particular the death of more than 58,000 Palestinians, appealing to “an unreasonable violation of international humanitarian law”. He said the situation violates the United Nations resolutions and the binding decisions of the International Court of Justice.

DAR asked for an “unconditional, immediate and permanent ceasefire” through Gaza and all the territories occupied by the Palestinians, stressing the importance of protecting civilians and joining international laws.

In addition, DAR called for “full and unhindered humanitarian access”, in particular the delivery of food and vital medicines to Gaza. He also underlined the need to protect humanitarian teams working in the field.
