Portnoy said that he had spoken to two of the men involved in the incident and that both “took responsibility” for their actions this weekend. Portnoy said that one of the men involved, which he identified as Mo Kahn, published a long declaration on his Instagram saying that he had nothing to do with the incident.
The statement said that the alleged culprit “had documented what had taken place as a citizen journalist” and added that since the video that has become viral, “he” faced serious threats to my security, which was overwhelming “.
The statement then added: “I hate all its forms. I was raised to respect and be friendly with everyone. I hope that honest and an open dialogue can get out of this incident so that we can approach the deeper realities of the world in which we live. With what I learned (and will continue to learn), I hope to help create a safer space for everyone.”
Portnoy said he had called Khan after seeing the statement and that Khan had told him that he felt forced to admit something in which he said he had no real involvement.
“I say to myself:” Hey, a hole you have downloaded this on Instagram “,” he said. “‘I didn’t put your name F — ING there. Other people have had it because you downloaded it on Instagram. You laughed.’ ‘And he said to me: “No, it was not me, I would never do that.” And I say to myself: “Well, I receive a million DMS on you, including another anti -Semitic joke as six months ago.

Portnoy said Khan was not going to explain the other alleged anti-Semitic articles on social networks and added that “maybe my parents can explain this”. The moment has left Portnoy perplexed.
“I am like trying to make a moment of learning it, throw a lifeline for a child, and he says:” Well, I have already been suspended from the temple “because you have a sign” F — The Jews “in a bar and I posted it on social networks” “, said Portnoy.” What don’t you have about it?
Portnoy clarified that he would not send man after all.
“F —, I’m sorry, guy. I tried to throw you a lifeline and do something about it, and now are you a” citizen journalist “? You have nothing to do with that? Buddy, you downloaded a video with a sign” F — The Jews, “Everyone was la.”
PK Press Club Digital contacted Khan via social media to comment. Some of his social media have been removed.
