David Beckham’s chivalry has launched mixed reactions from the British public.
The famous footballer, who was appointed to King Charles’ birthday list, impressed by the distinction. However, some Internet users highlight others worthy of the nickname that has gone unnoticed.
Addressing Mirror, a user wrote: “There are many other ordinary people who do not have famous personalities, influence and money to start a charitable organization or a contribution to other charities of charity that deserve the Chevalettes or the Ladyhoods for me than these pairs.
“Unfortunately, we live in a world of celebrities and the ordinary man, woman and child who do so much for charity, barely noticed and even less a thought for a chivalry or a lady. I recognize and think much more of those who deserve recognition or recognition than a very rich footballer and his wife.”
Another added: “Where are the knights of people who fought to save lives during the cochable? Or the war heroes who lost members in Afghanistan and Malouines? Or doctors and surgeons who save daily lives from armed men?
“This should go to ordinary ordinary people, who work tirelessly for funds for charity and are not recognized.
A fourth continued: “When people who really deserve recognition … Get recognition. There are many other well -deserved people who do an excellent job”, while another has expressed: “What a waste of chivalry. Many others should come before him.”
