David Beckham launched his early 50th anniversary celebrations with an extravagant black tie event organized by his wife, Victoria Beckham, Sunday, March 30.
Although Beckham officially was 50 years old on May 2, the festivities took place at Cipriani Downtown Miami, drawing a list of star guests which included Tom Brady, Shaquille O’Neal, Lionel Messi and the four children of the Beckham, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper family.
The exclusive celebration included dinner, drinks and music organized by DJ D-Nice in the Socialista Salon in Cipriani.
David and his sons looked clear in black tuxedos, while Victoria, Harper, the daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz and the girlfriend of Romeo, Kim Turnbull, dazzled in dresses on the ground.
In addition, in a sincere Instagram position, Beckham expressed his gratitude, “so I thought starting to celebrate a little early, a special evening in Miami. So, lucky to have friends and an incredible family to start the 50th celebrations.”
The former star of Manchester United and Real Madrid also shared playful Instagram stories, including a photo between 6’4 “Brady and 7’1” O’Neal, subtitled: “I’m so small”.
Before his stage birthday, Beckham told Men’s Health in February that the 50th anniversary did not establish him because he said: “It is not something that worries me. As long as I am in good shape and healthy and my family is healthy, that’s all that matters to me.” Despite a career marked by injuries, he revealed: “My body actually feels better than it has done … for a long time.”
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham, who marked David’s 49th anniversary last year with an affectionate tribute, also shared affectionate articles celebrating her husband when she wrote: “Happy birthday David. I like us to become really old! You are not far behind me! You are our whole!”
In addition, David Beckham retired from professional football 12 years ago, but his passion for fitness remains strong.
While thinking about past injuries, he pointed out: “My Achilles was a bad injury at the end of my player career, but that never bothers me now, despite the break.”
