David Duchovny opens a new chapter in his creative career.
About People magazineThe 65-year-old actor, writer and songwriter has gathered years of poetic reflection in a new collection entitled About time.
“I’m just trying to think about things from my particular point of view at that time and go to the heart of something,” he told the point of sale.
It is relevant to mention here that the acclaimed author Mary Karr has already praised the work, the appellant “a book of poems Helluva”.
“This is what a poem for me is: I have this feeling, it is around this thing, of this event, or of this person, and now I want to put this in a form which makes sense in one way or another-to face this mystery of this feeling,” he added.
“It was interesting to come back by all the drawers and notebooks and files and to find poems that I had forgotten that I had written,” said Duchovny laughing.
He concluded by saying: “Some of them entered the book – and some should never have been written.”
