David Foster talks about his fear of taking stairs

The musician David Foster admits that he is terrified to take the elevators.

“I try to go to the gymnasium three times a week,” he said. “In addition, I literally never take a elevator. It is a claustrophobia.”

Foster added that he had “been” in an elevator only five times “in adulthood.

“Three of them were intended for hospital surgeries. I was drugged, so it was fine,” he said. “The other two were extraordinary circumstances.”
