The health of Deion Sanders was a very followed subject this offseason. In June, information surfaced according to which the reproductive temple of professional football was sidelined due to an unrecognized disease.
In July, Sanders revealed that he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bladder cancer. At a press conference with his doctors, Sanders said that part of his intestine had been surgically rebuilt to operate as a bladder.
During his post-match press conference on Saturday, Sanders predicted that he was faced with more blood clots. “The cat came out of the bag, okay. I think I have more blood clots,” said Sanders on Saturday. “It makes no sense. I hurt like crazy … I don’t have blood in my leg. That’s why my leg is pulsating me.”
The blood clot problem led to the amputation of two toes from his left foot in 2021. Sanders was then coach at Jackson State. In 2023, the Super Bowl double champion missed the media day PAC-12 to treat a blood clot in his right leg and another surgery to correct the curved toes of his left foot.

Sanders said that Tuesday’s operation, known as thrombectomy by suction, is expected to last several hours. He plans to come back to the touch in time for the training of Colorado on Wednesday.

“I am undergoing surgery today,” Sanders said at a press conference on Tuesday. “Praying, I will be back tomorrow because I do not lack training. I do not intend to do that. It’s like that, and we found what we found … I have a wonderful team of doctors at UC Health and a wonderful team of trainers here.”
He added: “It has nothing to do with the fact that I work at the level at which I try to compete. It’s hereditary. It’s like that … I trust God with all my heart, with all my soul and my whole mind.”

Former NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones attended the media session on Tuesday as a sign of support. Sanders appreciates all SMS and telephone calls from people expressing their concern about his health.
“I have a lot of wishes of happiness, people who say: ‘you have to slow down. You have to take a break,” said Sanders. “There is nothing that I could have done to stop what is going on. Nothing that I could have taken or something that I simply do not respect. This is what it is.”
Following his diagnosis and treatment for bladder cancer, Sanders frequently needs to go to the toilet. The school therefore set up a portable bathroom during the matches sponsored by Depene underwear.

“I’m going to go [surgery]And I’m going to have one of the best sleeps in the world for, I think, four hours, the operation will last, “Sanders said on Tuesday.
“I have never been smashed for a single day of my life. I have never drunk, smoked or anything. But when I get operated on, I arrive on time.”
The Buffaloes have a 15-16 file since Sanders took over as a coach before the 2023 season. They are trying to put themselves on the right track this season by replacing the quarter-Arrière Sheder Sanders and the winner of the Heisman Travis Hunter trophy.
