The columnist Jemele Hill gave his own interpretation of the shift in Sheder Sanders during the weekend while he fell in the fifth round and was taken by the Browns of Cleveland.
Hill appeared on “The Dan the Batard Show With Stugotz” on Tuesday and rejected the story that Sanders fell so far in the draft because he was a confident black man, which the experts said throughout the weekend and even until the accusation of the NFL teams to comply with each other to ensure that the former star of Colorado Buffaloees fell.

She did not think that the Sanders draft shift focused on the race “at all” and proposed a suggestion to blacks in her diatribe.
“The main thing may be that we should accept the fact-and that does not mean that Shemer Sanders cannot continue to have a great NFL career, cannot do great things-but perhaps we, because blacks must accept the fact that Deion Sanders may have been a little hand,” said Hill. “And there is no crime by infusing all the confidence in SheDer. I was not embarrassed by the bending wrist, none of that. The NFL teams, if you are quite talented, they don’t care. And we have seen it countless times.”
Hill underlined the Baltimore ravens selecting the defensive winger Mike Green in the first round. The former marshall outside competition faced charges of sexual assault in the past and set a school record with 17 bags for the herd of thunder in 2024. The Ravens said they had investigated the demands thoroughly.
“In the NFL, they make these talented decisions all the time, but if the talent is worth it, they do not care if it presented itself in all gold, flashing anything, as long as you can play. That’s all they care,” she said.

Hill also deplored the lack of attention to the Pick Cam Ward N ° 1 due to the whirlwind which was the cover of Sanders throughout the weekend.
Ward had a stellar season with the Miami Hurricanes after being transferred from Washington’s state. Ward has entered the college rows with an embodied word because it was a zero-star recruit. He finally bet on himself and turned out to be one of the best quarters of the country.
“But the person for which I am really sorry is Cam Ward. Cam Ward went n ° 1. Cam Ward was a zero star recruit in a house with two relatives – because you know how we like to throw this on a type of respectability,” said Hill. “He is a fantastic, confident player, has done all things, written the n ° 1, and with the way people have embraced this story so much that SheDer was so badly done, it is as if they made Cam Ward sounds as if he were Steven from ‘Django’.
“And I am like, you don’t even know this child! So, he is painted in this light because” Oh, the NFL will accept this type of black but not this type of black. “It is like you know how many players, how many black players, have been forward on SheDer Sanders?”

Ward will probably be the starter of week 1 for the Tennessee titans, while Sanders will have to go up the depth board in the hope of obtaining playing time in 2025.
