The annual Colorado summer football camps began last week, but head coach Deion Sanders was far from the team.
According to USA TODAY, Sanders, 57, is faced with an unrecognized health problem and was in his succession in Texas.

“When we come back to Boulder, I don’t know,” said Daion Jr. in a Livestream YouTube from the Domaine de Canyon, Texas on Sunday. “I’m waiting for my father to leave. When he leaves, then I will go. Until then, I’m going to sit here with him.”
Deion Jr. said that his father “felt good”.

“He will tell you all this early what he is going through, what he has gone through,” added Deion Jr.
The University of Colorado told PK Press Club Digital that she had no comments on Sanders’ health problem at the moment.
Sanders said he was dealing with a health problem in May, when he revealed on the podcast of the old corner half of the NFL Asante Samuel that he had lost 14 pounds. In this appearance, Sanders said that what he was dealing with was “at the moment is at a completely different level”.

The Colorado coach has dealt with some serious health problems in recent years. In 2021, he had two toes on his left foot amputated due to blood clots which flowed from an earlier surgical intervention.
The temple of professional football renown underwent surgery in 2023 to relieve blood clots in his two legs.
The Colorado finished 9-4 in the second season of Sanders as a chief coach in 2024. Colorado began its 2025 at home against Georgia Tech on August 29.
