Nascar star Denny Hamlin underwent a scary incident on the track at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday.
Hamlin vehicle n ° 11 developed an engine problem between laps 1 and 2 on Tour 75. The car then caught fire as it was running. Much smoke died from his engine while the emergency staff rushed to Hamlin to turn off the flames.

He only carried out 15 laps and was resigned in the 38th position at the Würth 400.
“I blow up,” Hamlin told Fox Sports.
Hamlin said he had tried to prevent the engine from blowing completely so that its crew members take a look and discover what has really been wrong.

The Toyota driver organized another solid season in the first 10 races of the year. He entered the race for Fort Worth third in the points behind the leader William Byron and Kyle Larson. He had only 52 points behind Byron.
But the Sunday accident will certainly not give him the chance to jump in front of one or the other driver in front of him. Chase Elliott was only 20 points behind Hamlin and Christopher Bell had a 30 -point deficit on his part.
