Desantis declares “ Hulk Hogan Day in Florida ” after the wrestler’s death

Florida Governor Ron Desantis published a memorandum on Thursday, pointing on August 1 “Hulk Hogan Day in Florida”.

Desantis called for flags at the State Capitol and in the County of Pinellas to be transported by plane half Friday.

“Hogan was born in Augusta, Georgia, but moved to Tampa at a young age. He began his wrestling career in 1977 and became famous after joining World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE),” wrote Desantis.

“Hogan was inducted into the WWE renowned temple twice, first in 2005 and again in 2020 as a member of the new world order. His greater than life personality will be missed, because the` `Hulkster ” was an icon for many of those who grew up in the 80s and 90s as well as today. He was a real Floridian.”

Medical files have also shown that he had chronic lymphocytic leukemia, cancer that affects white blood cells, the exit report.

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, went to cardiac arrest on July 24. He died at the age of 71.

Sky Daily Hogan shared in an emotional publication on social networks that her husband had “dealt with health problems, but I really thought that we would overcome them”.
