Cleveland Browns The recruit Quinshon Judkins would have struck a woman in her mouth with a “closed fist” during a physical altercation which led to his arrest in Florida earlier this month, according to new details.
Judkins, who was drafted by the Browns with the 36th choice in total after an out -of -competition season in Ohio State, was arrested by the Fort Lauderdale police service over the weekend and accused of violence and domestic violence following an incident with a romantic partner on July 7.

The couple began to compete after flying at Fort Lauderdale airport, the NFL network reported, citing a police report.

The woman said that Judkins was apparently upset by the text messages he had received from family members when the couple was waiting for their luggage to the luggage complaint. The police report did not detail what was said in the SMS, but the woman told the police that she was trying to dispel everything that had been said in the messages.
After getting into their rental car outside the airport, the woman said the argument had become physical.
“The victim said that the accused had then struck her in the mouth / chin area with a closed fist,” said the police report, noting that the woman still had visible bruises on her chin area.

The argument continued in the vehicle and, according to the report, the woman at some point was seated at the back of the car.
“The victim said the accused turned over while he was driving and hit his overtime in the arm and left leg,” said the report, noting additional bruises in these areas.
The woman contacted the police days later on July 12, telling the police that she had not pointed out the presumed incident immediately because she “felt bad because of the success and recent career of the accused”.

Judkins was released on Sunday after putting a deposit of $ 2,500. The judge ordered The NFL A player not to be in contact with the alleged victim and does not have access to firearms.
