The offense of Detroit Lions took another important blow.
Months after the loss of the attacking coordinator Ben Johnson, the center of the pro bowl, Frank Ragnet, announced his steep retirement on Monday.
Rugnow, 29, played seven seasons in the NFL, all for the Lions.

Rugnow posted on social networks that he tried to convince himself that he feels good enough to play, but he said that he is not.
“I gave this team everything I have and I thought I had more to give, but the reality is that I do not do it,” said Rugnot, who was drafted 20th by the Lions in 2018, in an Instagram post. “I have to listen to my body and it was one of the most difficult decisions of my life.”
“These last two months have been very trying when I realized that my football trip ends and I officially retire the NFL,” continued Ragnet. “The organization Lions was absolutely incredible throughout this process and I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for this team and all the fans. It was an absolute honor that will fight for all of you.”
