Devon Walker left his fans in shock on Monday after announcing his departure from Saturday Night Live.
The 34 -year -old actor shared the surprising news on August 25 via social media. In the Instagram post, Devon thought about his trip to the NBC Sketch Comedy Show and admitted that “sometimes it was toxic like hell”.
“For me, jobs in this industry look like a lot of small weddings,” he started the long note. “Some last a long time if we are lucky, but most of them are ephemeral. Permanent until they are not. This is the business. You know what it is that when you register.”
He also wrote: “Me and the show made three years together, and sometimes it was really cool. Sometimes it was toxic like hell. But we did what we took advantage of what it was, even in the middle of all the dysfunction. We have made the Lil family. ”
“More than anything, I am really happy to be able to do it with Gary and Alex. N —– I really went from a bar show to work together at 30 rock! It is a beautiful thing. Also I look at this photo and I have the impression that it is important that people know what I do,” said Devon.
By concluding the note, the native of Texas added: “Anyway, I am to go to Japan. When I come back, I am tried to be in a prestigious drama. Ideally something with Julianne Moore. I hope that you will remain hydrated and get money today. ”
