Islamabad:
The LT Gen of the ISPR DG Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the president of the NDMA, the LT Gen Inam Haider, and the Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar informed the media on Tuesday concerning the ongoing rescue operations in the midst of heavy rain and Mousson floods.
DG ISPR said that the army, under the leadership of the army, had intensified rescue operations, saving 6,903 people and providing medical support in nine KP camps.
Eight army units was engaged in rescue work in the province, while two battalions operated in Buner. The army aviation also helped the rescue and supply missions.
