His statement comes a month after the Minister of the Interior published a similar refutation clarifying that there was no truth for speculation about the fact that the president had been invited to resign or the Marshall field aspiring to assume the presidency.

“The only objective of the COAS is the strength and stability of Pakistan, nothing else,” reiterated the Minister of the Interior.
Earlier this year, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif can officially confer the rank of field marshal on General de Coas Syed Asim Munir.
The federal cabinet approved the promotion at a high -level meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, where the ministers welcomed the operational success of Operation Bunyanum Mursoos. The operation was described as a historic military victory which rejected the Indian aggression and ensured the sovereignty of the country. Marshal Munnir also praised the political direction of their “strategic pension” during operation Marka-I-Haq.
FM Munnir is the second army officer in the country to be promoted Maréchal since 1947, since independence. Former army chief and military dictator Gen Ayub Khan was conferred on the rank in 1959.
Shortly after, in Washington, US President Donald Trump said he was “honored” to meet FM Mnir in a rare White House meeting, creating a key role in the cessation of the conflict between Pakistan and India.
