Islamabad:
The military spokesperson, director general of inter-service public relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, refuted media reports on Thursday, awarding excuses for the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Marshal Asim Munir.
Addressing journalists in Islamabad, the CEO ISPR said that the article by journalist Sohail Warraich was based on an event organized in Brussels, where hundreds of people took photos with the field marshal, but no interview was given by the army chief.
He said there was no mention of PTI or any excuse during the event, adding that it was the journalist’s own job for personal gain and advertising.
The CEO ISPR also said that the main journalist had shown irresponsibility for a personal gain and an advertising, because the Marshal in the field gave no interview during his visit to Brussels. However, he reiterated that the authors of the May 9 riots should face the law.
To a question of legal action against the organization of the media for having relayed misleading reports, the CEO ISPR noted: “We have explicitly said that the institutions should be liability and avoid reporting inappropriate information.”
Pakistan is a country that has the potential to change the fate of the region, which is why it is frequently attacked, said the ISPR DG, adding that young people should understand the heritage and the history of their ideological state.
Ahmed Chaudhry said the Indian conception of the army discreditation of the Pak army through terrorist proxies and other facilitators were thwarted by the adapted response of the Pak army. They were wrong to believe that they could defeat Pakistan through their military power of several billion. On the ground, Pakistan beat India and its proxies – Fitna al -Khawarij and Fitna al -Hindustan – simultaneously.
The CEO ISPR also stressed that the decision taken by all political parties in 2014 to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan has not been fully implemented to date. He stressed that whenever the illegal Afghans involved in crimes were expelled, certain political and criminal elements of the country are beginning to create pull -ups. He called for the implementation on 14 points of the National Pivot Action Plan.
The military spokesman said that the army, the police and the law enforcement organizations fill the governance gap daily with their blood, adding: “The young Pakistani are our asset.”
