Sean “Diddy” the lawyers of Combs expect his sentence to be approximately two years after his conviction for two leaders of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Meanwhile, prosecutors recommended between 51 and 63 months of sentence.
The two parties declared the potential sentence in their opinion in separate letters to the judge supervising the case.
Combs could be sentenced up to 20 years in prison on transport for prostitution accusations – 10 years for each accusation. He will be sentenced to a later date, by People magazine.
Combs, which has already spent 10 months in detention, has been acquitted the most serious accusations of sex traffic and racketeering in a Wednesday audience.
Combs had denied all the accusations and said that the sexual sessions fueled by drugs with male escorts – against which the two of his former friends testified in the trial – were consensual.
In their letter to the American district judge Arun Subramanian, the lawyers of Combs promised to the judge supervising his federal affair that the rapper would not contact escorts or prostitutes if he is released on bond.
His lawyers asked that he be released on bail of a million dollars, co-signed by his mother, his sister, and Sarah Chapman, the mother of her older daughter, luck.
His surety was refused after the prosecutors asked the judge not to set the surety, claiming that in their letter to the Subramanian judge that Combs remains a danger to the community because he could still commit crimes of prostitution.
They underlined how the music magnate would still have attacked his former girlfriend – who testified under the pseudonym Jane – three months before his arrest when he was aware that he was under federal investigation.
