- DJI defines the launch date of Mavic 4 Pro for May 13
- It seems that a rotary cardan is on the way
- We could also see improved cameras
After months of rumors and leaks, we will see the successor to the DJI Mavic 3 Pro in the coming days: DJI has published a new teaser on social networks that defines the launch day for Tuesday May 13, while promising that this drone “will turn your world”.
You can see the teaser on X or on the DJI website, and although the name DJI Mavic 4 Pro is not mentioned, it is clear that it is the device that is on the way, because we have a complete overview of the expected triple camera system, led by a Hasselblad 100mp camera.
As for the slogan “Spin Your World”, it seems that this new drone has a rotation cardan which can turn independently of the drone itself, opening a wealth of new shooting possibilities.
Naturally, Dji has no longer published details on the Mavic 4 Pro. The launch event begins at 1 p.m. BST in the United Kingdom, which operates as 5 a.m. / 8 am He / 22h Aest, and we will of course cover everything for you.

DJI can keep most of the Mavic 4 Pro details under Wraps for now, but we have seen many leaks to this point. In fact, they go back almost a year – that’s when we had our first overview of the triple camera at the front of the drone.
At the beginning of the year, we had another overview of the camera module, which is apparently larger this time (hopefully, pointing to better image quality). However, thought is that this new drone can miss the Lidar functionality.
More recently, we have seen unofficial renderings of the design of the drone, and it looks more or less the same as the Mavic 3 Pro. There have also been rumors of the 52-minute battery life and a starting price of $ 2,250 in the United States.
As our DJI MAVIC 3 PRO review will tell you, this drone started at $ 2,199 / £ 1,879 / $ 3,099 in. We also rewarded him five out of five stars and a highest point on our best DJI drone list, so we can’t wait to see his successor.
