You can always count on Max for a breathtaking drama, but you never know when it could get rid of this film for which you count. Fortunately, that’s why we are here, and you can bet that we had our Eagle Peeled eyes for the titles leaving Max soon.
There are five personalities who have a limited time on one of the best streaming services and who is now the time to get the most out of it. With two A24 films on The Coupping Block (one of them a previous Oscar winner on the best film), there is a beloved superhero film, a modern British modern animated function and a historic war biopic that Max decided to let go.
Fortunately, none of our choices for the best Max films starts soon – but this is never guaranteed. On a brighter note, Max has a wave of new films and programs on the path, and you can see our full list of everything that is new in Max in May 2025.

Directors: Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert
Age note: R
Length: 132 minutes
One of the most popular films to come from the A24 studio that captured the hearts of millions of moviegoers, and now he exploits his course with Max. Although many were completely disappointed with the Oscars victory by Jamie Lee Curtis against his nominated colleague Stephanie Hsu, he certainly redeemed when he swept the best support actor, the best actress, the best director and the best image.
In this drama of surreal action of comedy Michelle Yeoh plays the role of Evelyn Wang, a Chinese immigrant who is under the IRS investigation. It reveals a strange transport capacity through different universes and to connect with its alternative deadlines. Through this crazy trip through the multiverse, it must prevent a powerful being from destroying everything, but this wild ride turns into a touching story of self -discovery, which leads her to rekindle her complicated relationship with her daughter.
The imitation game (2014)

To watch
RT score: 90%
Director: MORTEN TYLDUM
Age note: PG-13
Length: 113 minutes
When I started my monthly streaming journal earlier this year, The imitation game was one of the nine films that I broadcast in January 2025. With regard to biopics, Tyldum’s account of the discovery of the history of Alan Turing is a British dramatic film of the Gold Standard despite its small handful of historical inaccuracies.
As much as it is a war drama, The imitation game is an inspiring story of a queer genius who helped save millions, but has always been persecuted for his sexuality even in events after its revolutionary realization.
It was the Second World War, and the English mathematician Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) was recruited by the MI6 to help break the Nazi Code Enigma that professionals have again failed to achieve. Behind him is a computer team that makes Whize Hugh Alexander (Matthew Goode) and Joan Clarke (Kiera Knightley), who help Turing build a machine which, according to him, will be the answer to save the country of war.
The Florida Project (2017)

To watch
RT score: 96%
Director: Sean Baker
Age note: R
Length: 111 minutes
If you liked the winner of the best recent film Anora (2024) There are only a few weeks left to review this drama of passing the rear catalog of Sean Baker.
Before supporting himself in comedy crime dramas, Baker has released his slice of life with Willem Dafoe exploring the little joys in life and the means to create your own pleasure and your happiness with what you have. The six -year -old daughter, Moonee (Brooklynn Prince), lives with her single mother in a motel in Florida who finds it difficult to reach both ends and dive into and out of roaming. Their world is a striking contrast of the one around them – the surrealist Walt Disney World and built for distraction.
Paddington (2014)

To watch
RT score: 96%
Director: Paul King
Age note: P.
Length: 95 minutes
THE Padadington The series of films was very well seated with the public, with its recent episode Paddington in Peru (2024) marking 93% on rotten tomatoes. But his second film Paddington 2 (2018) goes out in mind with an almost perfect 99%score.
Inspired by the classic British children’s literature, Paddington Bear (Ben Whishaw) ends in London after his house in Peru was destroyed by an earthquake. He warms up immediately to the family of Henry Brown (Hugh Bonneville) and Mary Brown (Sally Hawkins) and their two children, who decide to adapt it to the family, but shortly after having settled in urban life, he became the target of Millitent Clyde (Nicole Kidman), a taxidermist who will not stop to put his hand.
Deadpool (2016)

To watch
RT score: 85%
Director: Tim Miller
Age note: R
Length: 108 minutes
Miller made his director debut with dead Pool in 2016 and continued to produce the Sonic Film trilogy (we will not mention Border districts).
Unlike other Marvel films and superheroes, Deadpool is not the suave and shaped action hero you are waiting for. Instead, it is irreverent and not put into service, but has an intelligent comic timing. After serving in the special forces, Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is disfigured by the evil scientist Ajax (Ed Skrein) and is transformed into Deadpool. Despite his disfigurement, he left with superhuman powers which he uses to his advantage to find the man who spoiled everything for him.
