LG announced two new versions of its Xboom buds, its collaboration with Will.i.am. The new models include a new Premium Plus version which includes excellent Plug & Wireless feature of LG, something we have appreciated in other LG headphones.
The Plug & Wireless function transforms the load box into a Bluetooth transmitter for buds when the case is connected to wireless audio sources, allowing you to go wirelessly with the flight audio, gymnasium and other old -fashioned sound sources. It also has Auracasts for multi-apparent transmission.
The Buds Plus and Buds Lite both have light graphene drivers and versions of LG ANC. Buds plus offer up to 10 hours of reading and 30 with the charge case for the most; Lite can take 11.5 hours and 35 hours respectively. Both versions have Bluetooth 5.4 with multi-point and fast pair.
Lite Buds seem to have a decent and banal specification – depending on the price, which has not yet been disclosed – but it is the buds and I think that the most interesting headphones are.
LG Xboom Buds Plus
The Plug & Wireless function in the buds and particularly attracted our attention to the T90 without your LG, which we really liked. And the more buds also obtain the case of charge of UV-Disinfecting which promises to kill 99.9% of the bacteria of your buds.
The most have an adaptive equalization system which continuously optimizes audio and an ancple triple Mic. And the load box can be completed wirelessly for more convenience.
As its name suggests, Lite Buds are a less premium option. They also have graphene drivers, but the ANC is what LG calls “Soft Anc”, and instead of the adaptive equalizer, there are four adjustable equalization presets.
The price of new buds has not yet been announced, even if they are put up later this month (September 2025), but the more buds are designed to sit above Xboom buds of $ 99 / £ 119, and Lite Buds are seated below.
The Xboom Buds Plus and Xboom Buds Lite will start to deploy around the world later this month.
