- Sage printing barista touch caded now has a cold espresso mode
- It promises a rich and complete cold espresso for cocktails and frozen slats
- We soon test the new machine to see how he compares himself to his rivals
The Sage Barista Touch impression (known as Breville Barista Touch impressed in the United States and Australia) has long occupied a place in our guide to the best espresso machines, and now it is even more versatile thanks to a new cold espresso mode which should be ideal for making frozen slats and coffee cocktails this summer (rather than hot espresso plane).
The sage Barista Touch impresses with cold extraction has all the other features that we have appreciated in the original machine, which makes extraction always as good espresso as simple as possible.
This is in particular the Puck Impressive System, which helps you dose and buffer your coffee correctly (essential to avoid on or underestrament), as well as the MILQ Auto System, which helps you create creamy foam without having to control the art of using a steam manual baguette.

Cold brewing coffee machines are becoming more and more popular, promising to deliver a coffee with authentic good taste in just a few minutes (rather than during the night, as with traditional cold brewing). For example, the Jura Z10 uses high pressure water pulses to extract freshly ground coffee, and in my tests, I found the results surprisingly tasty and well balanced.
The excellent Ninja Luxe Café (currently sitting first place in our overview of the best coffee makers) also has a cold beer mode, just like the compact touch of the Specialista, although its cold espresso is not as full as that of the Pricer Jura machine.
I will very soon test the sage barista Touch impressed by the extraction of the cold, and will bring you a complete exam as soon as I finished putting him to the test to see how he compares himself to his rivals. It is available today from SAGE for £ 1,699.95.
