Errol Segal, 81, told NBC Los Angeles on Friday that the Dodgers told him he wouldn’t be able to buy paper tickets for the entire season. He was able to purchase paper tickets on Thursday.

Segal told the station he didn’t know how to use a computer and only used a flip phone.

He told the station it wouldn’t have been a major deal if he had been a season ticket holder for just a few years, but added he had been a season ticket holder for five decades.

“If I had the one-year, five-year, 10-year tickets, that’s a different story,” he told the station. “I’ve had these tickets for fifty years. They threw me under the bus.”

Segal said the team offered to buy back his tickets, but he didn’t want to hear it.

Segal told the station he hoped the Dodgers would reconsider their position. PK Press Club Digital has contacted the Dodgers for comment.
