The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Tuesday that they had set their appointment to celebrate their title of 2024 World Series at the White House with President Donald Trump.
The Dodgers said they would visit the White House on April 7, when the team is in town to face the Washington Nationals. The team added that players will visit Capitol Hill the next day.

“In accordance with the tradition of longtime baseball, President Trump invited the 2024 world champion Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House when they play Washington DC on April 7,” the team said. “The Dodgers are looking forward to visiting the White House and celebrating our title.
“In addition, Dodgers members will visit Capitol Hill on April 8.”
The Dodgers manager, Dave Roberts, described this as “great honor” to visit the White House after suggesting that he would not be in a history of Los Angeles 2019.
“It was not an official conversation that we had as a ball club,” he explained, via ESPN. “It is certainly an immense honor to obtain the invitation to the White House. This allows us to celebrate our 2024 championship. To my understanding, each champion of the World Series obtains this honor, so it is a great honor for all of us.”
Los Angeles is the last team to celebrate their victory in the White House title. The Eagles of Philadelphia and the Ohio State Buckeyes football team also made commitments to visit Trump and the White House. Florida’s panthers celebrated their Stanley Cup victory last month.
