Islamabad:
Judge Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar was sworn in as a chief of the IHC during a ceremony held Tuesday in Aiwan-E-Sadr in Islamabad.
The oath ceremony took place one day after President Asif Ali Zardari approved their appointments, based on the JCP appointments. President Zardari also administered the oath to Chief Dogar.
The ceremony brought together the judges of the High Court, the president of the Senate, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, the chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, the ministers, the parliamentarians, the representatives and the members of the lawyer and the legal fraternity, the police, the lawyers and the media.
