ISLAMABAD:
DPM/FM Ishaq Dar chaired the first meeting of the Committee on Economic Management Reforms on Thursday.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of focusing on sectors that can serve as triggers for higher and more inclusive economic growth.
The meeting deliberated on the way forward for the implementation of the government’s holistic economic plans in various sectors, including energy, social sector and governance. The role of the Planning Commission and other ministries was discussed in detail.
The meeting took place in person in the presence of the Minister of Planning and other officials.
