DPM DAR joins SCO FMS to meet President XI

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, represented Pakistan on Tuesday during a joint appeal from foreign ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) of the States of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

President XI, in his speech to visiting foreign ministers, stressed the importance of regional cooperation within the framework of the SCO framework – a bodies covering the Eurasian earth mass and representing a significant part of the world’s population.

On the sidelines of the Reunion of the Ministers of the ASCO Council, Dar Vice-Prime Minister, also held bilateral meetings with his counterparts in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

During a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Kyrgyz Kulubaev Zheenbek Moldokanovic in the main hall of Tianjin, the two parties reaffirmed their commitment to the Pakistani-Kyrgyzstan relationship for a long time and have expressed their interest in extending cooperation in the fields of mutual interest.

In addition, DPM DAR met the Deputy Prime Minister Kazakh and Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu. The two leaders reiterated their determination to deepen bilateral links and improve collaboration in regional and multilateral Fora.

DAR also organized meetings with foreign ministers from other OCS member states on the sidelines of the joint appeal with President XI.

“A precious value to exchange opinions and strengthen regional cooperation in these difficult times,” he posted on X after his meetings with the foreign ministers of Iran, Uzbekistan and Belarus.
