The Darrier Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar firmly rejected what he called “irresponsible” and “manufactured” of false news circulating on social networks, who wrongly attributed to a senior Iranian general, an assertion that Pakistan is launching a nuclear strike on Israel in reprisals for any attack on Iran.
Speaking in the Senate on Monday, Dar condemned the spread of false information following the increase in regional tensions and urged reservoir in the midst of an increase in conflicts between Israel and Iran.
“Pakistan has made no statement of this type. This is an extremely irresponsible and manufactured affirmation,” he said. He warned that “war is not a joke” and reaffirmed that the country’s nuclear and missile programs are purely for self -defense.

“Our nuclear and missile program is for our own protection,” he told legislators. “We said in 1998 that our nuclear weapons are intended for defense and regional peace. We have not signed the TNP because the maintenance of credible deterrence is necessary for our security.”
The DPM has also criticized the circulation of false news on social networks, citing a video generated by artificial intelligence which falsely attributed to US President Donald Trump and disinformation concerning the nuclear posture of Pakistan.
“There was a video clip on Trump that turned out to be generated by AI later,” he said. “Since June 13, many false stories have surfaced. The interview with Netanyahu during traffic is 2011. It is not the game of the child – it is a serious war. We must act with caution.”
He also said that Pakistan had played a constructive diplomatic role. “We are committed to the session of the United Nations Security Council. Iran appreciated the role of Pakistan,” said Dar. “The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Oman and Iran kept me informed. The Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs remained constant in constant contact during the talks,” he added.
