The veteran defensive player has already made an impression on Payton.
“He plays like Mike Tyson,” Payton told journalists on Monday. “It is hard. It is physical. It is built in this way. There are not many meters leaking. He is a knocked plate. They stop where he strikes them. There is an intensity in the way he plays. He is one of those players where if you put the film and say nothing, at one point, would you ask you early,” Who is this guy? “”
Payton added that he thought that Greenlaw’s physics was “one of his greatest strength”.
“He plays the position in such a way you cannot prevent yourself from noticing it on the film. His pad, his strength, his strength of the lower body. It’s impressive. I’m glad we have it,” he added.
