- Dreame launched the Dazzle hairdresser in the United States
- Add recognition of attachments, digital display and warmer heat settings
- Currently on sale for $ 249.99 (was $ 299.99)
Dreame has added a new gadget to its range of hair care – The Dazzle Multi -Styler – and I am excited. I reviewed most of the best Airwrap alternatives on the market, and it looks like the most serious rival of Dyson’s super-style, as well as perhaps offering the best value for money.
It does not do all that the Airwrap identifier can (I will enter the differences below), but there are features that I have not seen in any other dupe, and it is a plot Cheaper – half of the price at the PDSF, and even less than that at the moment thanks to an early discount: it is currently $ 249.99 ( $ 299.99) in Dreame. (It is currently only available in the United States, but Dreame has a great presence in the United Kingdom and I hope it will soon be launched here too at a similar price-I contacted the brand to confirm.)
What features, exactly? First, Dreame added recognition of attachment. So when you take, say, a curly barrel, it will automatically go to the recommended temperature and speed parameters for this fixation. It is always a very rare feature, even among the best hair stylers on the market.
Second, the maximum heat adjustment has been increased. My major complaint with the Airstyle Pro Dreame was that it was not hot enough to dry my hair or set to styles (I’m absolutely to protect my hair from thermal lesions, but you need a few Heat for a hairdresser to be really useful). Dazzling has a cold adjustment and heat settings of 134.6F / 57C and 194F / 90C. It is the same maximum temperature as the Airwrap ID, while the Airstyle Pro has exceeded 176F / 80C.
You also get a digital screen, which shows you at a glance which settings you use. I am not so excited about it, but I suppose it might be useful.
I compared the glare to the Airwrap, but in fact, it may be more similar to the flexstyle shark. Like this gadget, the upper section pivots 90 degrees for drying, rather than using an additional drying fixing to redirect the air flow. I have tested models that use both approaches and both can be just as effective.
It also has a metal colored diagram similar to flexstyle. I am a little sad that Drene did not opt for the finish of unique leather look that he used on the Airstyle Pro here, although the maximum temperature higher means that I would always choose the dazzling on this gadget.
How does dazzle compare to an Airwrap?
Dazzling looks incredible for the price, but it is not enough As good as the last planes. There are currently two main models to choose between: the ID Airwrap (launched in August 2024) and the Dyson Airwrap Co-Anda 2x (which was put up for sale in the United States in July 2025 but is not yet available in the United Kingdom).
These two models have a curl.id switch which launches a sequence of automated curls – wrap, curl, a cool photo – with timetables based on your specific hair type. They connect to a companion application, so that you can provide information on your hair, and can adjust the settings and watch the sequence that counts.
The CO-ETA 2X also has recognition of attachment, and this is a step on Drene’s offer in that it will go to your last settings used with each tool, rather than returning to a defect.
These two upgrades are useful. I found that the curl.id changes major game on the ID Airwrap – it is so effortless, and consequently I found my curls longer because I did not have to change parameters manually or to guess how long I had done each bit. I have not yet tested the Co-Eta 2x, but I used the recognition of Dyson’s attachment to the supersonic dwarf, where I found that it helped smooth the style process.
That they are worth the additional (considerable) cost is another thing. If you are in a mood to sleep money, I don’t think you are disappointed with the Airwrap, but if you are looking for Bang for your money, dazzling looks difficult to beat.
