Duke Phenom Cooper Flagg obtained a standing ovation from the faithful in the Cameron room on Monday evening in what could have been his last home game in Blue Devil uniform.
Last month, Flagg admitted that he “wanted[ed]”To return” to Durham next season – but to be the n ° 1 choice planned in the NBA draft does not make it exactly likely.
The “Cameron Crazies” know this fact, so as it was withdrawn from the match in the last minutes, they hit him with songs of “One More Year”.

Flagg said that he had “certainly” heard the songs, but that he was troubled by his future with the team.
“I mean, I live in the present right now, living in the moment, taking him day by day,” he said. “I don’t know what the future has in store for us.”
“I mean, it’s the best place in university basketball for sure,” added Flagg. “I loved every minute to be here. I loved all those I met, all those that I have been there for the whole year. It was an incredible year.”
When the time has come for him to check with 3:34 on the left, he slapped his hands with the teammates Sion James and Isaiah Evans, then started to blunt his jersey while he was heading for the Duke bench. He welcomed the coach Jon Scheyer with a High-Five and a hug, then descended the bench by kissing the coaches, the staff members and the teammates while the crowd began to ask for an improbable second act next season.

“Talent talks about itself. I love coaching his talent,” said Scheyer. “But I love to train the person. He is all about good things.”
Duke ends his regular season on Saturday with a trip to Chapel Hill to review their rivalry with the University of North Carolina. After that, they left for the ACC championship before going to the big dance.
If it was his last match in Duke, he gave fans a nice separation gift, dropping 28 points, grabbing eight rebounds and placing seven assists in their 93-60 victory against Wake Forest.
