The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026 was still in development last week as the tag team duo known as Demolition were announced as the latest inductees along with Stephanie McMahon and AJ Styles.

Dustin Rhodes was known as Goldust, to most, when he stepped between the ropes in a WWE ring. The Goldust character debuted in 1995. He completely owned the gimmick’s decades, completely separating himself from his legendary father, Dusty Rhodes.

It was because of the impact he had on WWE that his brother, Cody Rhodes, told PK Press Club Digital last year that he would like to see him go into the Hall of Fame at some point.

PK Press Club Digital asked Dustin Rhodes if he would be interested in joining the WWE Hall of Fame in the future. Rhodes wrestles for All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor and has made it clear that he intends to retire from in-ring competition while he is under contract with the companies.

“Absolutely. But I’m a very humble guy, it’s like it comes, it comes, whatever. I would love for Cody and my daughter to do it, especially both of them,” he said. “It would be just awesome, the most meaningful, the most heartfelt. But if it happens, it happens, if it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t matter. I’ve had a great, incredible career. Doing great things.

“I feel like the last seven years in AEW I’ve been really at the top of my game because I’ve had more freedom to enjoy it and it’s happier and you’re more passionate, find your passion sometimes and you want to grow this business the best we can and we’re all on the same page in AEW. We’re doing our best to get it to where it needs to be and it’s growing. It’s becoming huge.”

He mentioned a moment in his career that marked him and that isn’t talked about enough among fans. It was when he competed in a six-man tag team match with his father and brother.

“They know pretty much everything about everyone, you know what I’m saying? I mean, the times I have with my brother, wrestling and tagging with my dad,” he told PK Press Club Digital. “There’s one match that the three of us had – a six-man match and it was in Kissimmee, Florida for NXT. And we just did this one show.

“I’ve wrestled with my dad a few times, Cody only once. So it’s been special to be in the ring with both of them, all of us together. It’s probably the most special moment I’ve had in the business.”
