Dwayne Johnson spends quality time with his family in Hawaii, where he spent his childhood.
On Sunday, the wrestler who became an actor went to his official Instagram account to share a traditional dance that she played with her family.
The jumanji The actor called the “sacred dance” an emotional and special moment for him when he was able to enjoy the tradition with his mom and his daughters.
“I was lucky to have this very special moment on stage with my mom, my daughters and our Aiga (family)-dancing the sacred dance of our Samoane culture, the Tauculuga,” he wrote in legend with a video of him dancing with a group of Hawaiian people.
“It is personalized for Samoan men to remove their shirts to proudly show our Polynesian tatau (tattoo) and the complex stories that our Ink tells,” said Dwayne. “I slap the ground as a way to show my respect for the importance and the way in which our land becomes sacred at the moment with our elders (and my daughters who dance next to me).”
