The Philadelphia Eagles tried to make money by selling boxes of snow for $50 each to their fans, and it worked.
The team officially sold its souvenir snow pints at Lincoln Financial Field during the playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams this past Sunday. The Eagles won the game 28-22 in snowy conditions to advance to the NFC Championship Game. So the team commemorated the snow by collecting it, putting it in ice cream-style pints and selling it for $50.
It sold out in less than three hours.

The match recorded an attendance of 69,879 people. Many of these fans could have simply taken the snow from the stadium with them for free.
The conditions of the game are believed to have played a role in the outcome and benefited the Eagles, as Rams players committed multiple drops, fumbles and incomplete passes that appeared to have been impacted by snow.
The team claims its snow is the first-ever collection of authenticated snow tied to an NFL playoff victory and “sets a new standard in the world of sports.”

Former Dallas Cowboys star linebacker DeMarcus Ware told PK Press Club Digital that Eagles fans once threw battery-filled snowballs at his mother during a game his rookie year in 2005.
