The 2025 NFL season begins Thursday evening with the defending champion of Super Bowl Philadelphia Eagles, which means that fans will almost certainly see the team signature game – the controversial thrust of Tash – which has survived a prohibition on attempt at this off -season.
The short-yard game, also nicknamed the “Brandoyal Shove”, was a must of the Philadelphia offensive. It is based on the powerful offensive line of the Eagles and its teammates pushing the quarter-rear Jalen hurts forward on the Sneaks, often causing a touch or a first.
A proposal from Green Bay Packers to ban the game failed to obtain enough support from the owners of the NFL in May. The owner of the Eagles, Jeffrey Lurie, would have delivered a “passionate speech” and called on the legend of the retired team Jason Kelce, the longtime center at the bottom of these batteries, to help defend the maintenance of keeping it.

The Eagles used the game with unrivaled success, more recently in their 40-22 victory of the Super Bowl against the Chiefs of Kansas City in February, when Hurts was pushed into the goal area for a score.
Opponents argue that the tactics are unfair and raises security problems, but the NFL has found no evidence of injuries related to the game. The chairman of the NFL competition committee Rich McKay said in April that the lack of data on security risks had made a ban difficult to justify.

Not all players agree. The second commanders of Washington, Frankie Luvu, described the game as “cheap” after having jumped several times in the NFC championship match last season, forcing the officials to warn him that he would be penalized for anti -sport driving if he continued.
The Eagles, however, argue that any team can perform the game. They are simply not as effective. The tight winger Dallas Goedert defended it at the university tight in June.

“It’s a big football game,” Goedert told PK Press Club Digital. “In my opinion, the third and 1 is the most difficult game. If someone succeeds in a gap and makes a game in the back field, your disc is finished. We like to say that everything is the first and 9 for us. If we can get nine meters, we think we will get the first.
“We work very hard. Our offensive line, there are exercises for that. It is not as if we were the only team that can do it. They can do it. They just don’t succeed.”
The Cowboys, the Rival of the NFC East of Philadelphia, will be the first to try to stop the injuries and the offensive of the Eagles propelled when the regular NFL season begins on Thursday at Lincoln Financial Field.
