ISLAMABAD:
The Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday summoned the returning officer, district returning officer and district police officer over allegations of fraud in constituency NA-185.
A four-member bench of the election monitoring body headed by its Sindh member heard the petition filed by candidate NA-185 Sardar Dost Khosa.
The commission ordered the returning officer to submit a detailed report on the matter, while the hearing was adjourned to January 7.
The petitioner was represented by his lawyer Latif Khosa. The commission also summoned the winning NA-185 candidate to appear in the case.
