Current breakdowns have been reported in several parts of Karachi in the midst of strong precipitation since Tuesday morning, many areas have always been plunged into darkness, leaving frustrated internet users while they are confused with daily disturbances and limited access to essential services.
At least seven people have been reported against the dead molte rains defeated the city, flooding the neighborhoods, paralyzing traffic and eliminating electricity, which prompted the mayor to enforce a rain emergency.
K-Electric spokesperson (KE) said that Karachi’s drainage system was overwhelmed by precipitation that far exceeded its designed capacity, causing urban floods across the city and complicating energy restoration work in several localities.
