Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched the Apni zameen apna ghar Initiative, a flagship social protection program aimed at providing free residential plots to the poorest citizens and the homeless of the province.
The first phase of the program will allocate 1,892 free plots at 3 Marla in 23 low -income housing projects in 19 districts.
The initiative is managed by the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency, under the administrative surveillance of the Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Department.
The program is part of the broader vision of the “housing for all” of CM Maryam Nawaz and is designed to benefit those who meet the eligibility criteria.

Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chiniot, Fauba, Gujrat, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khushab, Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Bahauddin, Okara, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Voichari
Who is eligible?
Must hold a permanent residence status in Punjab according to the CNIC
Applications are only accepted in the applicant’s native district
The applicant, the spouse and the dependent children must have no property in Pakistan
The proper criminal record is compulsory
The applicant must not be a bank or a financial institution.
Submission of false or misleading information will cause disqualification
