Karachi:
Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) performs large-scale emergency exercises at Skardu International Airport, aimed at testing preparation and coordination between all the agencies concerned in the event of an eventuality, a spokesperson said on Wednesday.
According to the spokesperson for the PAA, the exercises were supervised by the director of the airport. On this occasion, the head of fires and rescue gave a briefing which highlighted the crisis management strategy, adding that the staff of the airport, the armed forces, civil institutions and the district administration participated in the exercise.
