Emily in Paris The creator, Darren Star, has just made fascinating details on season 5.
In an interview DeadlineThe American writer frankly talked about what fans can expect from season 5.
“I think we have a really great season to come,” he said. “We filmed in Rome during the first four weeks, and it was an exciting experience to be there. Now we are back in Paris, Emily is definitely back in Paris.”
The series follows the adventures of Emily Cooper, an American girl who moved to Paris, while she sails in her new career, her relationship and her life in a foreign city.
Meanwhile, Star discussed that the main distribution member Camille Razat, who had been a regular in the series during the first four seasons as Camille, decided not to come back for season 5.
Referring to his scenario that ends naturally as she decided to leave Paris, he said at the point of sale: “I think his story had a natural finish, his love life is always complicated.”
The return casting for season 5 includes Lucien Laviscount, William Abadie, Samuel Arnold, Ashley Park, Bruno Gouery and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu.
Addressing the return of Lucas Bravo, who played Camille’s ex-shee, Darren Star concluded: “We have Marcello, Lucas Bravo will be back this season, so we have interesting and surprising developments in terms of love life.”
Emily in Paris should be presented at the end of 2025.
