Emma said, “It’s his laughter, right? He has such a generous laugh. And sometimes you will see this flicker in his eyes, or that sly smile. I’m just transported.”

For UNEVERSED, Bruce received a diagnosis of aphasia in March 2022. It is a linguistic disorder that affects the ability to communicate. According to Mayo Clinic, “it can have an impact on your speech, as well as the way you write and understand both the language spoken and written.”
THE Foreigners Star then noted that her husband had something different in him before he was diagnosed with aphasia.
She joked: “For someone who was very talkative and very committed, he was just a little calmer. And when the family met, he would melt a little.”
“He felt a little removed, very cold. Not like Bruce, who is very hot and affectionate. Going in the full opposite was alarming and scary,” said Emma Hemming Willis.
