- Chuwi MiniBook X Ply like a tablet, weighs less than 1 kg and still has 12 GB of RAM
- Includes 512 GB SSD distributed by the user – rare for small laptops
- The Intel N150 chip limits performance but manages daily tasks
A new iteration of Chuwi’s MiniBook X, a light 10.5 inch convertible laptop, has been published, bringing back part of the charm once associated with netbooks – tiny, practical and highly portable.
Powered by an Intel N150 processor associated with 12th generation Intel UHD graphics, its performance is limited compared to consumer processors. However, the inclusion of 12 GB of RAM DDR5 and an SSD distributed by the User of 512 GB gives it sufficient capacity for basic computer tasks.
Measuring only 17.2 mm thick and weighing 920 g, the miniBook X is a small Windows 11 laptop. It has a gray space gray chassis and a 10.51 inch IPS screen with a 1920 × 1200 resolution and a 16:10 appearance ratio.
A laptop laptop for basic tasks
One of the lightest laptops on the market, it has a 360 -degree hinge that allows users to fold the screen behind the keyboard for tablet style.
It supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11AX1) and Bluetooth 5.2 and includes two type C ports, a 3.5 mm audio socket and M.2 extension locations. However, the absence of USB-A ports can limit compatibility with certain accessories.
The power supply is delivered via USB-C up to 36W, and the internal battery is estimated at almost 29Wh.
Although the processor limits overall performance, the compact size of miniBook X, the full keyboard and the touch screen offer flexibility. It can call on those looking for a laptop for the budget for taking note and publishing documents – such as students or mobile professionals.
The miniBook X is at the price of $ 352 in the Chuwi online store, but a promotional discount of May 7, 2025, which lowers the price to around $ 314.
