Islamabad:
The Federal Minister of Pakistani abroad, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, announced that around 500,000 retirees from the Employee Business Institution (EOBI) will receive their improved pensions as well as the arrears from September 1.
Under this disbursement, the EOBI will publish nearly 10 billion rupees in monthly retirement payments.
The federal office has already approved the increase in pensions, increasing the minimum pension by 10,000 rupees to Rs11,500 per month. In addition, the formula -based pensions have been increased by 15%, from January 1.
