Eric Dane revealed that he had missed Emmy 2025 due to a fall in his kitchen
In a recent conversation with The Washington PostTHE Grey’s Anatomy Star expressed his disappointment not to appear in the prize show because he had to give a prize.
Explaining his reason, Dane said he was in the hospital “putting me in the head” in the night of the Emmys.
The actor, who revealed his diagnosis of SLA in April, shared that before the show, he lost his balance and fell into his kitchen, causing a head injury.
“SLA is an unpleasant disease,” he said. “I missed an opportunity that I was really looking forward to.”
“It would have been great to see Jesse and find some of my peers, and to be able to present in front of my colleagues, I would have thought I was a special moment,” noted Dane.
Expressing his disappointment, Dane added: “So I was really upset about it, but you know, I couldn’t do anything about it.”
It came a day after Dane swore to “fight until the last breath” in the middle of the battle of his daughter.
Earlier in September, Dane’s wife, Gayheart, revealed to People This because of his diagnosis of “tearing” SLA, his family has trouble and even their teenage girls face the situation by visiting a therapist.
“I mean, it’s heartbreaking,” she said at the point of sale in an interview published on Saturday.
“My daughters really suffer, and we just try to go through. It’s a difficult time,” she added at the time.
