“I’m not sure they should have Sergio Garcia back after the trash he picked up today.”

Garcia, who competes in LIV Golf, won the Masters in 2017. It was his only major victory of his career. Since his victory in 2017, he has only reached the final two rounds once. The feat took place during this year’s tournament. He finished 52nd in the field.

He joined LIV Golf in 2022 when he was among the PGA Tour stars who left the organization. He has two victories in the series – at LIV Golf Andalucía in 2024 and LIV Golf Hong Kong in 2025. He has fought his way to the playoffs four times, winning only the Andalusia event.
