There are only 50 minutes left until the Indie World Showcase begins.
The stream is currently in a YouTube waiting room-like state, allowing you to tune in and ensure you’ll be there as soon as it starts.
How long is today’s Indie World Showcase?
Nintendo has already confirmed that today’s Indie World Showcase will last approximately 15 minutes.
That’s about the same length as previous broadcasts, and based on these events, it will likely mean around 16 or 17 matches will air in total.
What kind of games should I expect?

Indie World Showcases are, as the name suggests, dedicated to indie games – titles from smaller teams that might not appear in a typical Nintendo Direct.
This means you won’t see big Nintendo franchises like Super Mario here. These are third-party titles that are generally quite small in scope.
Here are some examples of titles that have appeared at previous Indie World Showcases to give you a general idea of the kind of things to expect:
Ball x Pit
Mina the Digger
Little kitten, big city
UFO 50
Small bookstore
Qud Caves
It’s an important birthday today

Away from the cover of Nintendo Indie World for a while, do you remember that today is a significant anniversary?
It’s been a whole nine years since the release of the original Nintendo Switch. You read that right, it’s been nine whole years!
The console was initially launched on March 3, 2017.
Just under ten minutes to get there, everyone!
