Trey Wingo, an old ESPN basic food on “Sportscenter” and “NFL Live”, seemed to deplore the management of his former employer earlier this week in an article on social networks.
Wingo responded to another user on X who wrote: “Today’s children do not realize it, but you could light Espn and not see Stephen A. Smith or Pat McAfee. These are glorious moments …”

“Let me preface this by saying that I have so many wonderful memories and so many great friends who work there that I want to succeed … But he is right,” Wingo wrote on X.
“It was a glorious buffet where you could choose what you wanted. Now, it’s like a banquet dinner: chicken or fish?”
The former ESPN host details the details after the support of women against trans athletes: “ I thought it was sport ”

Smith has been a figurehead in ESPN for years and its popularity has only increased since it started making “First Take” with Skip Bayless, Max Kellerman, Shannon Sharpe and others. He appeared on the cover of the NBA and has his own podcast separated from ESPN.
McAfee entered ESPN as one of the most popular podcasters in sport. The former bettor of the Indianapolis colts argued with the leaders of ESPN since he joined the company. But with his score Q improving, McAfee was seen on “College Gameday” and on WWE shows.
“Sportscenter” is always a main part of the ESPN program in the morning and evening. However, the range of programs is such that it is no longer located throughout the morning.

Wingo left ESPN in 2020 and worked with Caesars Sportsbook and Peacock since then.
